Product Warranty & Returns
Here at Artisan & Lær, we do our best to use the highest quality products available to hand, and we stand behind them.
Warranty is offered on all items up to 1 year where a Manufacturer, Hardware or Craftsmanship fault has occurred. This will cover all repairs on damaged items that occur from possible product or craftsmanship flaws.
Should you believe your product is faulty as a result of Manufacturer, Hardware or Craftsmanship, we always ask that you contact us in the first instance, as we have a process that is required to be followed in order for us to assist you as fast and efficient as possible.
Artisan & Lær does not warrant any aftermarket hardware for any branded devices, such as watch adapters, watch pins and buckles and so on. All faulty and/or damaged branded device hardware warranties, are strictly warranted by the supplying company only, therefore, approval or denial of any claims are subject to those company's discretion. Any damages to branded devices as a direct result of failed/faulty aftermarket hardware is subject to accountability by the Customer (whom owns the goods). Therefore, Artisan & Lær holds no accountability and/or responsibility for any potential damage that may be as a result of aftermarket fittings (i.e. Watch buckles, adapters, pins and so on). You order and use aftermarket hardware at your own risk and responsibility.
Any incorrectly fitted hardware, adapters etc are not covered under any warranty. It is your responsibility to ensure you have correctly fitted the aftermarket adapter/fitting to the device correctly. For correct fitting instructions, it is advisable you look these instructions up on the specific devices online sources or contact their help centre if unsure.
HOW TO REPORT A PRODUCT FAULT
Contact us via email or via our Facebook Page (Links Below) with a detailed description of the fault/faults and how the product was being used at the time the fault occurred.
Provide full clear, colour photographs of your product from all angles (Front, Back, Sides, Top, Bottom etc.) as well as clear, close up photographs of the fault or faults from multiple angles where possible.
Provide a copy of your original Tax Invoice as proof of purchase.
*Warranty will be void if any damage is found to be due to lack of adequate care, or misuse of the product (moisture/water damage, incorrect cleaning or care products used, horses chewing on product or pulling back, etc) is evident and/or determined.
**IMPORTANT NOTICE**
All returned or warranty claim products are subject to inspection prior to any approval.
Artisan & Lær reserve the right to refuse any Warranty Cover, Exchanges or Store Credits, if the products are believed to have been misused, soiled, used/worn or original tags have been removed.
PLEASE NOTE: Artisan & Lær do not offer cash refunds. Instead we only offer Exchanges (where available), or cash equivalent store credits once the original item has been returned in an acceptable state.
We strongly recommend that when trying any returnable products on, that you take care not to remove tags and use a scarf for clothing items to ensure no makeup is transferred to garments. For horse and/or rider tack, it is suggested this only be done on clean horses, boots, hats etc to avoid soiling and care be taken to avoid horses chewing the products.

Below we have listed the key information that you need to know:
In the unlikely event that your product arrives in faulty or damaged condition, you MUST notify Artisan & Lær Immediately, within 2 days of receiving your item. If your Item has arrived damaged during transit, then we ask that you contact your local Australia Post Office and lodge a claim via Australia Posts channels as well as notify us, so that we may assist you with your claim.
If the item is damaged or faulty due to manufacturing or craftsmanship faults you will be offered a store credit, full refund or replacement (if available) once all steps have been followed under the Artisan & Lær claims policy.
Approved returns are accepted up to 14 days from purchase date (proof of postage to be kept in cases where postage is delayed). Only where a return has been approved by Artisan & Lær, a store credit or exchange will be issued (where an exchange is not possible, a store credit will be issued). All returns must be pre-approved with us at Artisan & Lær before being sent back. This can be done by emailing us – artisanandlaer@outlook.com.au
Returns must be accompanied by proof of purchase document e.g. tax invoice, note with name and order number & still have the original tags on and in tact.
We will NOT accept return/faulty products that have become of unacceptable quality due to misuse; wear and tear; failure to follow manufacturers and Artisan & Lær instructions; or failure to take reasonable care. Care Instructions can be found on the website.
Our product manufacturing warranty lasts for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase.
We do not offer exchanges on any sale or reduced items, Jewellery & Accessory Items (Due to Hygiene Reasons)
Artisan & Lær is not responsible for delays in delivery.
Return costs are NOT covered by Artisan & Lær, it is mandatory that you have tracking on your return items and purchase any additional insurance coverage for items over $100, as we are not responsible for return items lost or damaged in transit.
Change of mind: Please choose carefully when ordering, as refunds are not given when you have simply changed your mind or no longer like the price. We recommend you make careful selections and preview your shopping cart items to ensure they are correct, before proceeding to checkout. This includes failure to enter discount codes correctly or entering the wrong payment method. Once you have processed your order it cannot be cancelled.
We recommend you make careful selections on what shipping you want or need on your order, and that you have selected the appropriate postage for your location (DO NOT select the Free Local Delivery, if you live outside the Calen & Mackay Regions), as you will be charged an additional $15 Administration Fee on top of your appropriate postage rate, and this is not negotiable, and refund will not be given if you do not like this additional fee. *Due to the nature of cowhide and leather products, small marks, slight discolouration and scars that occurred in nature are not classified as faults. These should be both expected and welcomed for authenticity.
