Our Story

The story behind Artisan & Laer is not only symbolic of my passion for leather, but also a tribute to my family roots.

wanting a business name that was symbolic & meaningful with something that had a little bit of history to it.

This is where Artisan & Laer was created. Artisan being a skilled trade worker, making things from hand. Laer being Norweigan for Leather, which is where my Grandfather was from.

from there, the rest is history. here we are, five years later fulfilling my passion for creating things using leather, all from our rural property in the whitsundays.
