Artisan & Lær is more than just a name—it's a heartfelt tribute to both my passion for leatherwork and my family heritage.

When creating a brand, I wanted something symbolic, meaningful, and rooted in personal history. That’s how Artisan & Lær came to life.

  • Artisan represents the skill, craftsmanship, and hands-on dedication that goes into every handmade piece.

  • Lær is the Norwegian word for leather—a nod to my grandfather’s heritage and a proud connection to my family roots.

From that vision, the journey began. Fast forward five years, and here we are—handcrafting each piece with care from our rural property in the beautiful Whitsundays, Queensland.
