Gift Certificates

Here are some important Terms & Conditions that you need to know before purchasing one of our Gift Certificates.

Customers may purchase digital Gift Certificates from our website in a range of values.

In the case of digital Gift Certificates, we will email the Gift Certificate to either your email address  or the recipient's email address as requested by the purchaser. The email will include instructions and a code for redeeming the Gift Certificate.

Gift Certificates, once redeemed, may only be used for purchases on our website. If a purchase made using a Gift Certificate is for less than the amount of the Gift Certificate, the remaining balance will be retained on the recipient's gift certificate for future use within the date of expiry. If a purchase made using a Gift Certificate is for more than the amount of the Gift Certificate, the recipient will be required to pay the excess using another payment method offered on our website.

If an order made using a Gift Certificate is cancelled or returned, the portion of the purchase attributable to the Gift Certificate to be refunded will be refunded as a store credit only. Store credits also cannot be exchanged/refunded for cash and carry with it the original expiry (a new expiry date is not allocated to the store credit) and conditions to that of the gift certificate originally used to purchase the exchanged goods.

Gift Certificates expire 3 years after the date of their purchase in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Expiry dates cannot be modified. Any balance that remains after the expiry date will be forfeited.

Gift Certificates are not transferrable and cannot be returned or exchanged wholly or partly for cash. Gift Certificates and store credits cannot be used to purchase other Gift Certificates and cannot be used to purchase custom made items. Gift Certificates are strictly valid online on our website only.Gift Certificates should be treated as cash. Lost, stolen or fraudulently used Gift Certificates (codes) will not be replaced or refunded. Therefore, you are responsible for the use and safety of your Gift Certificate (code). Artisan & Laer will not be held liable for the compensation of the loss, damage or unauthorised use of gift certificates as a result from lost or stolen Gift Certificates or Gift Certificate codes.
